The BTEC National Diploma in Performance is a two year full-time course, nationally recognised as an equivalent to three A-levels by Edexcel.
Our students explore music, dance, drama and musical theatre through a series of core and optional units. This National Diploma has been highly commended by OFSTED for its quality and imaginative provision. They gave us a rating of 1 - Outstanding.
Chickenshed is pleased to invite prospective BTEC National Diploma applicants to a practical Open Day at the Theatre on Tuesday 16 March 2009, 10.45am - 3.30pm
The Open Day will be an ideal opportunity to meet staff and current students, participate with them in workshops to get a general picture of what it is like to be a student on our courses, as well as see a production of ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’ as our guest. It is important that potential applicants attend all or as much of the Open Day as possible, to get a real idea of what the course has to offer.
