£5 … pays for one inclusive theatre session for a child from a deprived area, building
on self esteem, feelings of self worth and confidence.
£10 … pays for two lighting gels to fill the stage with light during one of our
performances.
£15 … pays for wheelchair access for one performance.
£20 … pays for one script and workshop notes to be produced in Braille.
£40 … pays for audio cassettes for members with visual difficulties.
£100 … pays for our new DVD to reach 200 homes.
£225 … pays for wheelchair access to 15 performances.
£500 … pays for teenagers from all backgrounds to train during the course of one academic year so that they can support over fifty younger children in their out of school hours community activity (all the children gain as their confidence and self-esteem grow).
£750 … pays for a creative resource pack of script with director’s notes, workshops, DVD and CDs and original scores, to be created to provide teaching on inclusive theatre for schools and community groups throughout the UK.
£1,000 … pays for the Chickenshed wheelchair accessible minibus for one academic year, taking inclusive theatre to over 700 children and young people within a community.
£2,000 … pays for our access group to deliver audio description for five more performances per year for blind audience members.
£3,000 … pays for a seat in The Rayne Theatre, our purpose built performing space in North London, with a plaque dedicated to you or a loved one.
£3,500 … pays for 30 children from all backgrounds to participate in our inclusive theatre workshop programme for an entire term.
£50,000 … will help establish a permanent inclusive Children’s and Youth theatre for a community, an activity that allows children from all backgrounds to play and learn together (we call these groups our satellite “Sheds” – currently 22 in the UK and one in Russia).
